More about Dr. M. Ihsan Kaadan

Dr. Kaadan was born and raised in Aleppo, Syria. He graduated from Faculty of Medicine, University of Aleppo in 2012. He completed his internship year at Aleppo University Hospital. During the Syrian crisis, Dr. Kaadan served in a local NGO providing primary healthcare services for the displaced people of Aleppo. After he moved to the US, Dr. Kaadan attended Brandeis University for a master’s in International Health Policy & Management, with a concentration on Health Systems Strengthening. Later, he joined the SCAD research group in the Division of Cardiology at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School. He is an author of many scientific publications in cardiology, global health & health policy. Currently, Dr. Kaadan works as a resident physician at the Internal Medicine department, Boston Medical Center, Boston University School of Medicine
