Dr. Hynd Bouhia is the CEO of STRATEGICA, an economic intelligence and strategic consulting specialist, a Professor of Sustainable Development at the University UM6P of Benguerir, and a member of the Johns Hopkins Society of Scholars. Bouhia cumulated several years in leadership positions, starting with eight years at the World Bank in Washington DC, before joining Morocco’s Prime Minister Office in 2004, establishing national strategies, and structuring Morocco’s first Compact for the Millennium Challenge Corporation. She was appointed Director General of Casablanca Stock Exchange in 2008, a position she led before joining Morocco’s Sovereign Fund CDG Development, and structuring several investment funds. She is a board member of Air Liquide Foundation for Development, and ZH Advisory, and was a member of the Jury of the MBC Television program « Stars of Science ».
Bouhia received her Engineering diploma from Ecole Centrale Paris, an MS, and a PhD from Harvard University SEAS in June 1998, and an MA from Johns Hopkins SAIS in June 2000. In 2015, she was distinguished by Forbes as one of the most influential Arab women in business, and in 2008, she was ranked 29 in the Forbes list of the most influential women in the world.
