Dr. Ali M. Al-Khouri is the Advisor of the Arab Economic Unity Council and Chairman of Arab Federation for Digital Economy in Arab League. He is also a senior government official in the UAE, with over 28 years of experience in the implementation of many mission-critical and strategic initiatives in the public sector.
Among the most recent initiatives that he is playing a leadership role in are: Arab Digital Economy Vision to support digital transformation of economies in the Arab region and Digital Economy Vision for West African (ECOWAS) Countries.
He has been appointed in 2018 as an advisor to the Guinean Government, and shortly after which he developed Guinea Digital Roadmap 2040 and is involved in implementing key initiatives in Guinea.
He is recognized both nationally and internationally as think-tank, and has published over 120 books and research articles.
He has appeared in 2018 as world’s 100 most influential people in digital government, in the list that was published by “Apolitical”, funded by European Commission and World Economic Forum.
He is a Professor and Fellow of the British Institute of Technology in London, UK, and holds his degrees from top UK academic institutions: Manchester, Lancaster and Warwick universities.
