Leveraging Technology and Innovation to improve healthcare access and quality across MENA countries.

Information and communication technology (ICT) continues to rapidly transform the face of healthcare, providing patients more options to access health services and allowing medical institutions to deliver care with efficiencies and precision that previously were not thought possible. A MENA survey stated that 48% of young people (ages 15 to 35) believe that information technology should be used to improve quality, access, and costs in MENA’s health care systems.

This panel will explore the opportunities internet-powered technologies present to change the healthcare landscape and make quality affordable care easily accessible to those who need it the most. We will also examine how infrastructure, regulatory and local-cultural barriers towards widespread adoption of a digital health solution can be circumvented.
