Lilah Khoja is a current Master’s candidate at the University of Michigan School of Public Health, pursuing health behavior and epidemiology with a focus on women’s refugee health.
She received her B.A. from UCLA in International Development Studies. Before joining Karam Foundation, she spent time in Istanbul working with a Syrian temporary education center and spent time at the Committee to Protect Journalists. Lilah has worked with the Democracy Council and the Committee to Protect Journalists, and she has been published in The Outpost, Mashallah News, Today’s Zaman, and SyriaDeeply.
