More about Dr. Tamer Rabie

Dr. Tamer Rabie is a Lead Health Specialist in the World Bank’s Health, Nutrition and Population Global Practice. He is a Medical Doctor with a Master in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, and over twenty years of experience spanning clinical medicine, public health, health systems, health policy, and environmental health. Dr. Rabie has worked in over twenty countries in Europe and Central Asia, South Asia, East Asia, and the Middle East and North Africa regions in areas related to health system reform, quality of care, evaluations, infectious disease epidemiology, nutrition, as well as governance, social accountability, and private sector participation in healthcare service delivery. In his current position at the World Bank Group, Dr. Rabie has been developing a number of analytical products, at the country and global levels, and is leading the health policy dialog in a number of countries in the Middle East and North Africa region on health sector reform.
