Gaza: Reimagining the Boundaries of Possibility

Dina Omar is a PhD student in anthropology at Yale University. She studies the politics of mental health in areas of extreme surveillance. Her dissertation project considers how Arab youth are psychologized as part of, and as an effect of, increasingly surveilled conditions. Dina is also a poet, founder of National Students for Justice in Palestine and serves on the National Executive Board of the Palestinian Youth Movement.
